Market Snapshot

My outlook for the coming week is very bullish. Inflation data came in better than expected on Friday at 3%, compared to the forecasted 3.1%. That gives the Fed plenty of room to ease and the market knows it.

There’s a 98% chance of a quarter-point rate cut next Wednesday, and with Meta, Amazon, Google, SoFi, and Celestica all reporting earnings, I believe we’re setting up for strong upside momentum.

$QQQ ( ▲ 0.97% ) broke out to new all-time highs on Friday, closing at 617. I see potential for a run to 625 on strong earnings. Meanwhile, the $VIX ( ▼ 2.78% ) continues to drop, now in the 16s, and could easily dip into the 15s or even 14s as optimism grows.

I’m currently sitting at 17% cash, a little below my typical 20–25% range, but leaning bullish and playing this market aggressively into earnings.

Celestica reports earnings Tuesday, and I like this short-duration setup because the company is well-positioned in the AI manufacturing space. Their equipment supports the buildout of AI data centers, which continues to accelerate globally. Short-term premium, strong fundamentals, this is one of my favorite trades this week.
