Market Snapshot

Right now, I’m very bullish and here’s why. Fear is elevated, the $VIX ( ▲ 22.63% ) is sitting near 20, and yet the market refuses to break down. That kind of resilience tells me smart money is buying quietly while retail investors sit on the sidelines.

$QQQ ( ▼ 0.37% ) is trading around 602, consolidating sideways and waiting for direction. A big move could come soon with upcoming catalysts like Core CPI data next week pending the government shutdown and major earnings reports from $AXP ( ▼ 2.28% ) American Express and $TSM ( ▼ 1.6% ) Taiwan Semiconductor later this week.

In my view, this setup favors the bulls. We had multiple chances to break down and didn’t. That’s strength.

VIX above 20 gives us juicy premiums, so I’m keeping my cash levels light at 12 percent. This is the time to collect income while fear pays us higher premiums.
