Today was not the type of Monday we wanted, but we were prepared as I said in the last newsletter “if we close ugly into the weekend, expect Monday to be down”.

With that said, I was pretty excited for today’s opportunity. Perhaps a little too excited as I deployed most of my cash.

QQQ and VIX - Does this crash continue?

Today QQQ opened positive which indicated that we were most likely going to head back down to new lows. That confirmation came true and the VIX spiked all the way up to $20. When this happened, I placed some trades.

I see QQQ potentially heading down to $515ish tomorrow or worst case scenario we open red all the way down to $510 and then resume back to a bullish rally from there.

Absolute bearish case scenario is we had back down to $500 for a double bottom. This is not likely, but it could happen.
