CPI Tomorrow: Here’s My Market Plan and SOFI Trade

The market keeps pushing to new all-time highs, but with tomorrow’s CPI data ahead, I’m playing slightly cautious. Long term, I remain very bullish and see the 590s coming soon on QQQ.

Market Snapshot

QQQ touched 584 today and looks ready to grind higher into the 590s if CPI comes in line or better. Market makers are pricing in a $5 move to the downside. Worst case, we see 579 on a surprise miss, which I would treat as a dip-buying opportunity.

VIX closed at 15.34 after briefly dipping into the 14s earlier today. If we get a spike tomorrow, I plan on putting more cash to work. Right now, I’m sitting on 20% cash and would reduce that down toward 13–15% if we get weakness. Long term, I remain very bullish.
